You were all so thoughtful and conscientious, ensuring that your time in Southampton was safe and thoroughly enjoyable for all. We really appreciate that you felt 173 High Street was able to provide you a getaway that was safe, utterly comfortable, and luxurious, even – or especially – in this time of Covid-19. We're diligent about being abreast of the latest research pertaining to cleanliness and disinfection and are constantly tweaking our rigid cleaning and disinfecting protocols so that you may be assured a safe and clean environment.
It was a particular delight for Paul to see The Deck well used for morning coffees, aprés beach drinks and star gazing, some even bundling up to enjoy the sunshine on these chilly Fall (yes, it's still Fall for another few days!).
What's in store this winter? Come and drop your bags and walk the shore. Enjoy the crashing waves and after dinner take to your jammies for a read or a Netflix binge. (Special thanks to Dave Nicholson Photgraphy for this image of the range light.)

Still working remotely? 173 can offer you a terrific 'workation'. The East Room is particularly well suited to this with a fold-out desk at which you set yourself up with your computer and devices and connect to high speed wifi. This happy guest spent a week with us and enjoyed the benefit of being at the beach, eating out and still getting in a full work day (in fact, her home office is in the UK, so this suited her really well as she could be up at stupid-o-clock and not feel she was disturbing anyone.)
