173 High Street
AN INN FOR THE FORTUNATE FEW
Established in May 2015.
Rest assured - we're making your stay comfortable, clean and safe.
The Inn and Southampton are beautiful at any time of year.
In the heart of Southampton, you're steps away from everything!
The South Suite's photography and art are by two local artists: Carol Norris (her photography gallery is downstairs), and Darlene Watson painted the joyful piece in the sitting room.
Our spectacular flag at the beach just down the street
Contactless provisions - each morning fresh towels, filtered water and any other amenities you may need are set right outside your door.
Your morning cup! Each room has a Nespresso machine and supply of teas.
Need to stay connected? We've got high-speed wifi and the West and East Rooms have desks so you can set up your office away from home.
The South Suite
Refillable hand soap and lotion along with microfibre makeup removal cloths.
Filtered water in refillable glass bottles for your convenience.
Beach bags and totes for borrowing or buying. (You'll also notice an original illustration of Paul's bike in front of the Inn by local artist Larry Waters.)
Extra large beach towels for borrowing (or buying!).
Follow the yellow bike! Southampton is great for cycling (because it's flat!). Bring your own bikes - we have a secure lock-up, or borrow ours if they're available. If you like, Paul will be delighted to take you on a guided tour.
The front of your home away from home.
Having a special getaway? Ask us about some of the additional extras we can have in your room for your arrival.
Sunset over Lake Huron - just down the street.
You'll see Wendel Schendel throughout the Inn, not least adorning the bag with Mill Creek Chocolates!
Even Santa stays here!
