The bed was to die for! There were so many nice touches such as the linens, filtered water, milk, cream, good coffee and Prosecco! Their Covid safety protocols were exceptional and we felt safe. The location is close to many restaurants, an amazing baker and the beach. Looking forward to visiting again!"

"The bed was supreme, the sheets so smooth you felt like you were floating. The decor was modern and very soothing... the whole ambiance was perfect. Pictures on the walls were great and suited the place. It was fun to be right on the High Street and a short walk to the beach front with glorious sunsets. Terrific location."

"A lovely, safe and quiet getaway: close to everything in downtown Southampton and the beach – just what I hoped for. Paul really knows how to spoil his guests! The suite is spotless and he's a welcoming, knowledgeable host (all of his recommendations were excellent), yet respects your privacy. Parking downtown, which I thought might be a problem, turned out to be easy – so convenient to get around both on foot and by car. As for the town, I loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere found everywhere (even in the summer heat/humidity) – servers went out of their way to be helpful. Seems life really is better by the beach!"
"We planned a last minute getaway and decided to try Airbnb. What a fantastic place. Paul was a great host and the Inn was more than I could have ever imagined! The room was impeccably clean! The decor was very modern and "beachy" with beautiful photographic artwork and a very comfortable, plush king sized bed! The beach was just a short walk away! We hope to be visit again soon. A great place for relaxation!"

Located above a couple of stores he rents out, there is a bit of a climb but he offers to help with luggage. Includes breakfast coupons. Overnight parking is behind the building off a lane ... a premium accommodation with five-star treatment that makes it worth every cent."

The room was beautiful (the photos don't do it justice), and all the little bonuses like drinks in the mini fridge and coupons for breakfast made the trip great! "This was the perfect place for our getaway. The location couldn't be better... steps to the beach and great shops. The room was clean and the bed... oh so comfortable! Paul was flexible in setting up our arrival time and there to meet us when we arrived. His tips on places to check out while in town helped us make the most of a short visit. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer."

"The accommodation lists for Southampton, Ontario were a bit disheartening: mostly highway motels. But this property stood out offering a room on the upper floor of a commercial building on High Street. I didn’t quite know what we’d be getting in for, but the choice seemed attractively adventurous. As things turned out, we couldn’t have done better! My wife and I spent two very comfortable nights there, framing a day of hiking in the Bruce Peninsula. The building has been creatively renovated, with a clean, spare taste; the room was commodious, with a very comfortable bed, a pleasant sitting area, and a vast bathroom. Small details were perfect, and it was nice to be right in the center of a really attractive town, with friendly people (notably the landlord!), and strikingly upscale shops: the ground floor of the building, for example, houses, on one side, a renowned olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop, and, on the other side, a stunning photography gallery. Our visit to Southampton was full of delightful surprises, and a large part of that was our accommodation at 173 High Street. We would certainly want to stay there again on future visits, and we recommend it with enthusiasm."
"Awesome place, I was impressed by the cleanliness, design and decor, quality of the furniture. There was wifi and a tv with Netflix. AC was nice and controllable. Washrooms are so spacious. If you go to Southampton or Sauble Beach, this place is a must."
